Before I fit the shocker top mounts they was a gap on the top cover under the bonnet. When I jacked it up it dropped down then when I let the car down they was a gap.
Now even with the car up or down they is no gap with the power flex bush. Is this wright any one no

I have not fitted mine yet, but they make the strut sit 10mm higher so I would expect a 10mm minimum gap between the cup and the strut tower.

The gap will only be there when your off the jack - when your jacked up, the strut will drop, removing the gap until you put it down again.

Yer that means there worn mate. I've just done full new standard suspension but powerflex top mounts and I have no gap now weather it's jacked up or not

Sounds silly but did you fit them the right way round?
The strut has moved up 10mm but the body of the car is still the same so there should be a gap.

The bushes lower the car by 10mm I tried them in a mate's golf and compared them to standard and the strut sat higher up.
Are they the red polybush ones?
