To tint, or not to tint ?

What are your views on it...tempted to get the rear one, and rear passenger ones done. Nothing too dark just something subtle.

Cars a silver leon 130 tdi, 17" starfish alloys on at the moment, slowly gettin there...

Tint - I did never looked back, loving it only sutble but looks great and not too much in your face!!

My dad knows a firm that can do it cheap for me . What you reckon then, how dark ? and which windows..just the rear lot, theres the main rear window, rear passenger windows and the small bits behind the rear passenger windows.

dont do it yourself get an expert to do them, you dont want to end up with bubbles and creases

Yeah get it done by a professional otherwise it will look ****! I'm going for a medium tint on the side and a dark tint on the rear window. Think the bloke i spoke said there was 4 shades. light, medium, dark and limo.
Someone on here does it for a living. Think its Nev-lcr?

black tints all the way. Makes the windows look one! very nice look (if you got the black sticker on the pillars)

Unless you are experienced or stupidly lucky i would let a professional do it
Ask Nev_LCR about it as he does it as a job

I've done a couple of my own cars in the past using pre-cut film specific to the car from an ebay company Turns out very good in the end, all it takes is patience, soapy water spray bottle, a smoother and a very clean working environment.

You should go for it. Those who have had a subtle tint...what % is that and how much did it cost? I'm looking to get mine done soon too.

My Subtle Tints all round - These are the only pics I have - not sure on what percentage they are at a guess I would say 25%

When i bought my car i noticed mine were tinted at the rear and back window but very subtle more like 10% lol
