Toledo 2005 - will it have a VW engine

I hav just purchased a Toldeo and was wondering if it has a VW engine in it?

It is a 2005 model. When did Seat start putting in VW engines?

Well, seeing as Seat was taken over by VW in 1986 you should be fine...

i have the 2006 1.9 tdi toledo and it has a VW engine in it

Indeed as Neil rightly says, SEAT's have been driven almost exclusively by VW/Audi Engines since the mid to late 80's. Certainly every car they have produced since the early 90s for definite will have had a VAG engine in it.
