Hi
new to seat's and loving the Car

just bought a silver 51 plate Toledo V5 with built in SatNav but its the maps are abit out dated
just wondering does anyone know how to update it?

any help would be great
sorry if it has been posted before :ban:
thanks andy

Nice and easy, buy a new disc! There is an eject button on the top right, remove the existing map cd and replace it with an updated one.

They typically sell for around £100 new, and I've had no luck tracking down a copy.

Personally, I'd save the £100 and buy a proper satnav... :)

Beware ! there are 2 different setups installed and the changeover year was around 52 plate -so you could have either! the earlier setup is marked on the front of the unit as seat navigation system the later one as seat dynamic navigation system. They use different disks which are not interchangable!.The disks for the early ones are known as non dx the later as dx discs.THe main problem is that there is a limit to what the unit can do as it dates back to 2001 so its never going to compare with the latest Tom Tom etc but it looks so much better than a box stuck to your screen....:D
Keep an eye on Ebay and search for Tele Atlas (they do the maps) just make sure you get the right ones

Dave

I have the seat dynamic navigation system - so I take it I will be needing the DX DVD...;)

Is the SEAT Nav supported for the Middle East by any chance? I guess it'll depend on the CD. Anyone kind enough to tell me how to order this Navigation System for my Toledo, and any additional changes like the antenna is needed ? Has anyone installed the nav system in his Toledo? Please share your experience...and how much did the nav system costs?

awaiting replies, thanks!

The discs come with regional variations that include EMEA, and are still available direct from SEAT for the small price of 'an arm and a leg'. If you don't have the sat nav, then the full unit is around £400 from memory.

It would be far cheaper for you to buy a tom-tom...

Just a thought, is Audi A3 speed o meter compatible with Toledo ECU ? I've seen A3's speed meter its fantastic! There's a centre LCD screen which shows all details even the doors, standard Toledo speed o meter does not shows the door open light (at least not on mine)..... A3 speed o meter even shows the date and year! Has anyone fixed A3/S3 speed o meter on their Toledo or Leon ?

I would have thought not as it may require additional plugs / wiring, but stand to be corrected, as am new to Seat / VAG.
Marculos.. How was your trip.? Could I ask about the SN Disc please.?
