thats right iv got another one a tdi 150 sport this time, probably wont do too much looks wise, got some r32 wheels which need a refurb and tyres, refurb can wait til after winter, just think some springs, then remap

huge difference, the torque hits you like you've been crashed into by a wagon, i want to remap it but im unsure about how long the clutch will last.

also i dont know whether to put a cupra r front splitter on this time, it looked the nuts on the old one n i think this needs something extra on the front end to smarten it up. and as gay and practical as it sounds, i think me old one looked better with the mudflaps

I'm with you on the mud flaps, especially at the rear, seems to emphisise how high the back end sits without mud flaps.

Yes i like them with mudflaps too, seems to make the rear appear lower. Always have mudflaps on all of my cars though.

theres my old tolly with mudflaps and a 30mm drop on eibachs

the lower sections are coloured on mine cos its a tdi sport

Now that is a stunning car! i see what you mean by the mud flaps.

I have a V5, would i have an issue with a 30mm drop like that?

you shouldnt have any problem with a 30-40mm drop, any lower and you may risk damaging the sump because its so low. lower than 45mm and you will have issues with the arb

update!!!

finally got some pics of the toledo with its new shoes one, and got it dropped this afternoon and its lookin sweeeeeeeeeeet also got some 2nd hand mirror covers and painted them gloss black and im liking them more and more

Sorry for slight thread hijack but does anyone know the biggest wheel size the Tolly arches will accomodate?
Looking at picking up some R32 wheels for my V5 and there's a nice set of 18" nearby on ebay... Won't be too big will they?

How low is that? That is how low i want mine to be...real bad...i was looking @ SPAX and WEITEC shock & spring package...

its dropped 40mm all round on jamex springs with standard dampers. it rides a little bit firmer but not enough to bother me.

iv also put a c2 stubby aerial on in case nobody noticed lol

nice, thanks for that, i'm in two minds wheter to for the 40/30 drop or 35 allround...having looked at yours i'm not sure now...more time more research...DOH!
