Just a custom map/tweak of the settings will do, have a search for companies with the capeablities to do so like RSTUNING or JABBA.

Do u know how that much it costs roughtly and where the places near me where u can get that dont LEEDS area, i think the turbo and the other components are enough are enought to make it go far without over doing it.

 Ha ha yeh i forgot about that! the tyres i had on it were the cheapest pieces of black rubber tat i have ever seen!!! they came free with the wheels and were made by some crappy company called suni-track - so sticking some better tyres on might help.

Bare in mind that the tyres were 225/40r18s and they were able to give a full set away so they must have only cost £25-30 each!

In comparrison - the Pirelli Scorpion STRs on my truck are £125 a corner.
There you go then.

I cant believe everyone saying remap when the tyres are so so poor. Tyres are one of the most important things on any car.

Agreed, a lot of people would sold their souls for that amount of torque and you want to cut it? Oh, come on... Leave it and work out on smooth starts and get better tires.

Hello ive just bought MJ's old Seat Leon Cupra, it has been remapped and modded to the max. The problem i have with it is that it has TOOO much torque and it cant get the power down on the road and wheel spins all the way up to 4th gear when i put my foot down. so what im looking to do is:

Reduce wheel spin
Get power down on the road
Reduce smoking (Diesel)
Better on fuel (running rich) wasted fuel

i think the issue is down to the remapping so i was woundering if it is worth going down a stage to reduce all of these problems if anyone can help please reply to my thread all advice will be appriciated.

What do u think to 225 40 18 Yokohama Parada spec-2 tyres feedback please!!!
Very good in dry but quite bad in the wet.

Falken 452s are very good for £60 a corner if your looking to save a few quid.

There is a ton of threads on what tyre on here...search button.

When I am running 300bhp / 430ish lb/ft soon I am still expecting full throttle in 3rd gear NOT to spin. WHY? Because I have damn good tyres. :)

I also have a limited slip diff but that's not such a factor in a straight line. Dervs will never been a 0-60 monster. I prefer to let them get ahread a bit and then use that 30 to 70 speed to whoop past. ;)

Don`t count your chickens before they hatch mate as there is no guaranty with the set up you are building that you will make over 300 bhp. It`s about time you got that engine past 300 bhp but you don`t know what the power is going to be like or how it is going to drive.
