If they are 18's the profile should be 40 not 45. The tyre would be too thick and throw the speedo and mileometer out.
wall sizes are jut a ratio - and overall not throw the speedo out by like 30 mph! perhaps 5 yes, and give him infact a higher top speed for having a larger rolling radius

Yes, I have my 02M box out for a LSD job now. Looking to change final ratio of 5th and 6th. Want 500rpm lower revs at same speed. Better for mpg and top speed. Will be interesting to see what the new top speed will be like.
I can't see the point of trying to redline your car in 5th 4th 3rd or whatever to see if it hits 120 130 140 150 ectmaybe I'm missing something here but shouldn't you be redlineing in 6th to see if you can hit 160 ![[B)]](/forums/styles/seatcupra/oldforumsmileys/shades.gif "Cool [B)]")
Its just for example - everyones maps are "different" so the optimum time to change gear will change accordingly. And yer - i was "cruising" at 155mph from gps in 6th and she was still pulling! I backed off due to cross winds and rain! This summer hopefully itll be a dry autobahn and I can tell ya all what it REALLY does !!!!!!

I know mine does 105 in third and had 156 (on tom tom gps) not to long ago at the airfields by me. I was at about 6,700 ish rpm so I recon I could hit 160 if I had the space need a 10 mile runway lol

He lol my mates dad runs security on the an unused base up my way every now and then he let's us have a blast up there he's got a DB9 so he tends to play to he let me have a go a few months ago and fook me it was fun I want one
