Top engine cover for Toledo

Does the 2.0tdi Toledo sport have a top engine cover, just bought a toledo special edition and noticed that there wasn't a top cover? dealer contacted Seat who supposedly said it didn't? Can anyone confirm this, and if it should have one where could I source one, presumably a 2.0 Tdi golf would fit???

Mine doesn't have one either. At the time that I bought it the salesman span me a story about SEAT deciding that the covers held too much hot air in the engine bay so they removed them.

Sounded like BS but it doesn't really bother me.

And of course they will know more than VW, considering it is one of their engines. Just another cost cutting exercise.

My 06 tdi has one! If its a big problem I would be quite happy to swap mine for the special edition without the engine cover
