Top mounts - where from?

Hi i got some LCR top mount prices the other day and from Seat its about £60-80 for front and rear. Are there any cheaper suppliers out there that list for the LCR?

That is about the best you will get them for - the lcr front top mounts are reinforced so cost more

thanks but im sure alot of companies make them ie sachs and dont add the massive VAG group margin on top. As for VW spares ive had bits off them before and there good but i just cant see an LCR listing and unsure on the quality of febi??? plus i had asked them before for a quote via email but the response was rubbish so i might try calling now as i really need to change them asap

You could try asking Issam @ INA Engineering if they do them.

i got new lcr top mounts front and rear includiong new bearings for about £81 from david @ seremotors, delivery was quick and he was really helpful, i realy dont think you will get them for much cheaper than that

Really?if they are all the same i would expect a bit of reinforced rubber to cost less than £80-90 a set so i think il keep looking around

well they are 7.90 each plus vat at the link i posted... febi are good quality, as i said i have run them twice now, no issues.



vagcat states the lcr and lc top mounts are the same throught he mk4 platform.

will check on the s3 fronts to see if they are the same

right the lcr are reinforced top mounts thats why they cost 80quid

lc arent and are 20quid.... ha ha

lc can be used if you want to keep costs down.

for 80 quid, id be going ina track density top mounts tbh......

doh, always something special. im lowering it but really dont need anything too special as long as it lasts a couple of years on the new shocks and springs.

As for fitting the LC i dont know but i had just fitted the LCR shocks/springs to my LC so wanted the LCR strut tops too
