Top Mounts?

I put some new wheels on the Mk2 today, now its knocking going around corners.
Would i be correct in guessing the top mounts are knackered again? Anything else it could be?

Wheel bearing would give a similar noise

wheel bolts loose ?

try old wheel sback on quick and see if it goes away

Couldn't CV joints cause this problem too?

Oh great, could be a whole host of things then! I reckon she's got the hump because we have a Mk 4 now as well! I'll give her a clean tomorrow maybe she'll start behaving herself again!

I've had her for 6 years now and she's never missed a beat, never failed an MOT. I've either got a good one or its all gonna go badly wrong in one hit!!

I've had a squeaky clutch pedal for a few months now, so if i dont bother fixing that nothing else will go wrong then?!

just check the squeak isn't a crack in the pedal box

Pedal box definately not cracked There is some movement in it when the clutch is pressed down though so i'm guessing it will go at some point. There is however a massive amount of play in the top mounts so i'll be changing them very soon, also checked the wheel bearings, they had a small amount of play but nothing worth worrying about.
