right needing to sort myself out a respray ive looked on this thread and looked on the site for a contact for PF AUTO in kidsgrove but cant find it or find it on the net either, can anyone help, also can anyone suggest any other well reccomended spray companies or vouch for anyone. cheers

if you fancy a trip down norfolk way we have sh*te hot painter, chris brown, always got dubs in there, very professionally run out fit, got a £60k oven, will do smoothing work etc, his quality is second to none, if you want a quote just give me a PM and i will send you contct details. I've seen loads of stuff come out of his shop, including a £7k paint job on a TVR and a Jaberoo Aeroplane! he does all my spraying (we restore classic lambretta's) and we have tried 4 other sprayers - none match his quality and if he says it will be 2 weeks for e.g it will be 2 weeks!!!

wel he charges around £700 for a full respray for a scooter, which is pretty fair price for them. Cant say i know a price for a car, depends on prep needed i suppose.

i suppose the work he's done for you would be cheaper because you know him.....£700 for a scooter??????? they're about the same size as my computer desk!!!..lol

He must be good then!!

lol! but thats just one end of the scale, i know one tvr he did for an insurance job was £3500 for the front wing!!!!! please dont ask why and dont tell me im telling porkies either, cos its true! some kind of special paint

ive always been led to believe that flip paint like some tvr's have is completely impossible to match due to the angle that it was originally spayed onto the panel(s)???

for £3500 i could understand as he's probably had to do virtually a complete respray.

they aren't in kisdgrove any more as the detials show above hes moved to his new massive body shop in tunstall (about 500yards form my work)
mines in there at the moment, top quality work but dont expect your car back for a month or so. mine sbeen there 3 weeks no and still no done, so wont be going on sunday now :(
the lkad who sprays 99% of there cars is chris top bloke and a good sprayer.
if any one needs help contcting him give me abell, I've know him about 5 years now and he did my last car as well. (hes a busy and hard bloke to get hold of, so a normally just ring his mobile)

you need to ring him first before you just pop in, as hes out a bit plus hes just broke his knee skiing.
but i do know he'll be there tommorrow morning as i'm popping in again to alter my cai and fit some other new toys to my car.
i'll also be giving them a hand in stripping the car ready for the work (they dont normally have you doing this, just mines been sprayed as a favour)
