Top strut mount andstrut brace help

well decided 2 check all hoses bolts and stuff under the bonnet of the cupra

and what do i find the drivers side of the strut brace moves up and down thus meaning the topstrut mounts not tight then i find someone has bodged some non standered bolts in there that dont tighten up and sound like the nuts in the topstrut mount are just spinning

also its a seat sport momo strut brace and it looks like its not a very good fit on the drivers side but is fine on passanger side

so do i need a new top strut mount?or something else

and should i get rid of the strut brace?

the strut brace mounting point doesnt sit flat on the strut! ill take a pic in a minuite

on the passanger side yes but im not 100% about the drivers side

local garage will hopfully sort ut 2moz

well the garage i was goon to take it to say i need cupra r strut mounts

is this true

and that the cupa r strut brace wont fit my cupra

now seat are telling me that the strut mount they have has no captive nuts what the hell?

mine has 3 bolts as in pics ive also gave them the part number also and its right but theres has no nuts

im hating this car right now

Get 2 'Strut Top Mounts, Front' from there and replace both sides, then you will be sorted. The strut brace will fit your car. The Cupra R brace fits all mk3 Ibizas.

Same with the mounts, the same throughout the mk3 Ibiza range.
