I know it does come off but dunno how I'm fitting mine sat so I can let you know ;) Or you can do it and tell me :D

Ok mate thank you can you get some pics and if you to trim it or anything let me know :)

I didnt even realise they offered it in blue which is annoying cause my intercooler bits are blue

How did you get on fella top me and Terry about 2 hours of pushing twisting and pulling  didn't come with the mettal nipple for the bottom vac pipe so had to make one was a complete are to do :( bit it's on now I also had a spare vac hole on mine??? WTF is that about it gap one more hole than the oem one:think:

still ent got round to doing mine as we went to it started raining. I will update everyone once its on

Are these decent quality? Debating whether to get one of these or wait for a second hand Forge.

Mines good :) makes a difference to :)

From what I have seen most of the cheaper alternatives for these cars seem to actually only be cheaper because they dont have a name attached. I think with forge they may be a bit better quality but are massively over priced in my opinion. I have seen this with a number of things for these cars. Miltek and blue flame want £400 for a down pipe and de-cat and mine wqas £100 and can't complain at all good quality all round.

Dame with the fmic fire want £500 but mines brilliant and was only £250 :)

I fitted my new TIP to my AUQ cupra on Saturday.

I bought this one from ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-GOLF-MK4-1...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item255e393d83

£80 incl delivery. I did look at the toyo ones too, but ended up with the one above, mainly because the ad listed my engine code so I was 100% sure it would fit.

looks to be good quality, had all the bits it was meant to have including the metal pipe

Was a nightmare to fit though, OEM TIP cam out easy enough, but trying to get the new one in the gap where it had to go proved difficult to say the least.

Its on now though and everything is running well. Sounds awesome with the jetex filter etc that Ive just fitted.

i heard on some earlier engine cupra's need a metal bung for one of the holes in the TIP that is not needed. I didn't have any extra holes in mine though.
