Hi everyone

I have the toyosport intercooler kit and i just found a penny size hole on the intercooler pipe that links to the throttle body and has the map sensor in it.

Does anybody know where I can buy this pipe alone??....or does anyone have one they'd like to sell??

I have messaged toyosport on ebay asking them if they woukd sell me one as advised by a few people on here.

Gonna take it all off on Sunday and see if I can repair it short term. I have some silicone straight pieces and was thinking of sliding on other the hole and clamping it at either side. What do you guys think??

Any advice wouldobe appreciated

Why not chop a small section from the pipe where the hole is and use the silicon hose to join again ?
How did you get it holed in the first place ? I'm assuming you're talking about the metal pipe.

Hi mate

yes its the metal pipe. Just realised that the previous owner who had installed the front mount hsd literally left it dangling inside the bumper....he had not secured it using any brackets at all. The pipe looks to have been rubbing on the chassis leg and has finally worn through it resulting in the hole. I will be securing this on sunday when I get time to remove the bumper.

was thinking about cutting out the section with the hole in as you suggested....but that will leave me with two joins that do not have a bead or raised edge on it and im worried about it slipping off under boost.

Think just slipping a silicone pipe over the whole thing then clamping on either side might be a bit more reliable??

I would have thought to get a silicon pipe over the whole section that it would have to be substantially larger in diameter. I would go for joining myself and double clamp at each end. In reality I can't see it being a problem sourcing the replacement part so it would only need to be temporary.
