It would be nice to drive a MK2 to the limits to know were they are, and if possible to correct before it all goes t*ts up. The question is, who does track days / training with a leon, where are they and how much?. The other thought is to have personal driver to give you a couple of hours in my own car on a private road / track.

John vx220 - l believe Alton Park has track days, costs approx £150 for the day ( how ever long the day is).
Thats a crackin lookin car by the way!!!

I've done quite a few track days - not in my Leon though...

Cadwell Park
Donington Park
Anglesey
Elvington
Teeside Autodrome
Rockingham
Bruntingthorpe

Generally prices vary from £80 to £120 per day for a single driver... £25 for every extra driver. There is one coming up at Bruntingthorpe at the end of the month 29th. Then there's a Teeside 21st April. Not for the Leon et al but it may give you a good idea of just how much you will be pulling over... especially if we're on!!! ;)

It'll be the best day you've ever had (providing you dont crash) and it is very addictive/expensive...

Have fun - wherever you go...

Ive done lots in my Leon, I go to the ones organsied by tris on here. Usually a good Seat cupra turn out. Not sure where or when the next one is.
Most have driver tution available if needed. :)

We've been all over the country included, brands hatch, snetterton, lydden hill kent, donnington, cadwell park, and castle coomble, which is probably your nearest.

I think its a great car to drive around the track, the ESP usally corrects all your mistakes for you :)

blah ! turn the esp off round the track if you dare !! lol

knockhill do them.

and they provide the cupra. long way to go for you, but if its anything like the seat track day freebie  it would be well worth a trip in my opinion.

and edinburgh is always nice if you want to make a long weekend of it. (although it is a bit cheeper mid week). i'll be taking shmbo up once it gets warmer/drier as shes not getting into mine to learn how to do her make up in the rear view mirror whilst exceeding the national speed limits!

Bruntingthorpe (sp?) is a pretty good one to learn on, but it's one hell of a way away from you.

Goodwood is closer and not a bad track again to learn on.

Hi, should be getting my Cupra last week of April/ first week of May and am planning a weekend at the Nurburgring 2nd weekend of July. Been over twice already in the last couple of years first time in a subaru Impreza wrx with ppp fitted and last time in a BMW Z4 3.0si. Hoping to have the Cupra 'modified' before I go. Does anyone else do an annual trip to Germany ?
