Yeah its no good, drives fine. after having a flick through the manual its the light that lights up like an engine block but in the manual that corresponds to "Fault in Exhaust gas Emmisons Control system"

"When warning lamp flashes- there is misfiring that can damage the Catalytic converter reduce speed and drive to nearest dealership"

Going up this morning. If I have to leave the car there for them to sort it I will screw.

I've had 2 fiestas for courtesy cars. I don't the like drive or the feel of them, much prefer.the.ibiza

And that must suck big style jay :/ only just got it and it broke seat need to admit the problem and get it sorted they can't keep selling dud engines

Nah those stock fiesta's handle much better than stock (i.e. no cupra or fr) ibiza's.

Hope you get it sorted, but the engine management light can lead to bad things. Have a quick google.

I doubt its Revo'd. He's only just bought it from the dealers.

Hi guys. Ive been driving around all day and i was doing same as did yesterday and had no engine light. It wasnt the epc light just the exhaust gas emmissons light. Still really enjoying car and havnt had any power problems. A strange one. Getting it checked out anyway will be keeping eye out For it. Im really enjoying the car, cruise control is great addition too For motorway.

You can buy them pre revo'd from certain dealers but he's not mentioned it so I doubt it.

Hi guys nope its not revo'd "only" does 0-60 in around 7secs- think revo would be closer to 5s?

The Tribu colour is really nice in the sunlight Still had no emmison/engine lights come on yet again. Maybe just because its been sat around for a while it came on when I was giving it some? I have no idea really.

It's never a good thing to boot a car on low miles, it's not even done 1000miles! I wouldn't ever hammer an engine up to 1000miles. it's always good to be careful with a new engine. Motorways are a good place, vary the speed from 50 - 70.

I agree dabbalz but I cant tell(bar the avg mpg it had on it when I bought it- though the average speed was 9mph?) or change whats happened to it in the past. Its just one of those things. Still not had any warning lights come on again. This is a good thing that its not and im glad its working perfectly, just strange that if it came up twice doing a certain thing one day why isnt it comming on when I do the same again(3/4 full throttle at high revs/load)

Met up with some mates over the weekend and had a mess around with the cars. Ended up driving along side a mate with a Megane sport 225, may of perhaps kinda done a little bit of a rolling start race from around 30mph (think I was in 3rd to start with) and We were nosing infront of each other about 3/4 times up until we braked @ around 85/90l. We were both really surprised/impressed by it have to say it certainly has some go, Ive seen him drive that megane sport and boy is it quick, sure it would mince me round corners but straight line up to naughty speeds there was nothing between us. From a standstill I reckon the Megane would see the Cupras trapezodial exhaust until the speeds got higher due to the grip and DSG changes.

Gave it a wash this morning and the sun came out so took a few piccys. Apologies for not putting the rubber shine on before the pics. Poor show by me. Enjoy.

No updates mechanical or otherwise to report just enjoying it how it is now(a lot!!). Needs some Eibachz or similar to lower it a bit and make it turn in bit nicer. Could just remove all the crap from the back end(tools,full size spare ect) but sods law would stipulate that I would need them at the point furthest from home when I really need to get back though. Hmm.
