Car had its first year service courtesy of Huddersfield Seat last Thursday. Just an oil change that they would of charged me the pricley sum of £129 had I not got 2years services thrown in! Got just under 8000miles on it now and is going well. Bridgestone Potenzas on the front have 4mm left, Havnt been spinning them up much. Seems they wear just as quick as they did on my Fez. Still love the constant surging power delivery and on the flip side the day to to lazyness you can have with it.

Not the best pics just taken in a hurry. Hence no tyre shine(to be fair, there was talk of a BBQ at the GF's so I had to attentend!)

Kerbed my alloy the other day, hardly anything in fairness, though, is a good excuse to look at lightweight alloys and some new rubber. Suggestions?

Gave the Cupra a quick wash n wax today, as its going down to GTi Inters tomorrow. Took the rear seats out again too, literally took 5mins now I know whats what Even though it was really dull and raining most of the day the sun did come out twice so I took a few piccys. Nothing special.

Been getting prices for fitting/painting or skirts and spoiler for this. Really needs them to make it look more aggressive from the side/rear. Also going to pick me up some "lows" just eibachs or similar as I had them on the fiesta I had and it still felt nice even with 3 people in the car.

Not done the wheels/ tyre shine yet. Figure they will get dirty on the way down tomorrow so will do them there.

Had a great day @ Inters. Shame I only got to use one of my runs but never mind. Defo doing this again properly Ran a 14.15s with 0-60 of 5.72s

Yeah Dale- T's Boc he had S1 revo on it but its now stock with an ITG, shows how good the ITG kit is a suppose, guna have to pic me one up i think. Dale got a 14.8x, pretty good for stock w/induction i'd say.

Would of beaten quiet a few cars there I wouldnt of expected had I been able to run next to them.

yeh when i was watching it i was suprised at how he managed to keep up for abit, i think he had a better start than you to be fair why did he get rid of the Revo?

and yeh the cupras are suprisingly quick from standard anyway, they beat quite alot of the new hot hatchbacks out there

The angle of the video always shows that. Through First gear we were neck and neck, once 2nd was slammed home though the gap just got wider and wider. Was really good fun. Wish I could of done more. We both knew the outcome of that race but just wanted to do it for kicks yeah seems he got slighty better start from the vid, didnt see it when I was on the strip. Hes awaiting an updated map from REVO.

Someone correct me if im wrong but I think (from the times ive seen) I was fastest/one of the fastest 1.4tsi Cupra's. Im sure IbizaRaceBrake did a faster one the day before mind you.

Want to start messing around with it now. Suspension, Spoiler,Skirts, Lightweight alloys, ITG induction(seems to be very beneficial, even if the price isnt so!)
