I have a 2025 Cupra Formentor vz2 and it was recalled for “travel assist” sensor.
It would intermittently come on and off whilst driving. It went into not my local Arnold Clark for this one day recall on 25th June and it’s not made it back out.

Apparently the update of the sensor failed and has rendered the car completely unusable. According to both AC and CUPRA it needs a full new control unit.

My problem is CUPRA are not able to tell me when this part is available, they have had it since 25th of June and i have no estimated time frame of when i am getting my car back 🙁.
Does anyone else have this problem or anyone else waiting on this part and been given a time frame ?

Thanks

I dare say it will be having the 90Z1 software update suite.

100% not your fault or problem that the update failed and it's the brand's duty to keep you mobile in this instance.

Have you spoken with Cupra customer care to raise this issue?
