Latest update was that they need to make some adjustments to it after test fitting it to a vehicle. There is no approximation of how long it will take to do this.

Latest is that kev has no idea when it will be done as they're too busy doing other things.

Apparently there's a few issues regarding the manufacturing of it, but no details as to what exactly.

I did make the point that we have been waiting over 18 months for it now, but it looks as though they're prioritising other items over this. May make my own since I'm on my uni holidays!

They must just have loads more ford customers etc...

I am not sure if they understand that the longer they take on this the more people will give up on it. then the customers they would have had wont all be there anymore.

All that work on a rear diffuser would be such a waste.

i just cant be bothered to check their facebook, website anymore.

I have said people are losing interest. He said they've invested a lot of time/money in this and need to get money back on it - sort of contradicting the fact that they aren't, seemingly, in a rush to finish it.

No it's not, it's very disappointing really.

I've told him I'm gonna make my own soon!

Ooooh he's gna be sh1tting himself, losing one customer :p lol

I can see it from both sides tbf

If he's got customers wanting something that he's got ready to go, then I don't blame him for dropping the development of something new

He's not dropping the development of new products though, they're announcing new stuff all the time on Facebook, but stuff that's taken far less than 18 months to develop as well!

It's definitely just been shoved to the bottom of the pile.

When the splitter was being made it dragged on for ages and lots of people lost interest.

This diffusser has went on so long I'd forgotten about it! At the right price I could be interested in one for the wife's car, that's if we still own it when produced.

They can't be too busy as they're offering to develop a splitter on the Audi forum and looking for numbers and a donor car.
I don't see the point in hyping everyone up then disappointing them, Its always better to under promise and over deliver than the other way round.

I agree...
I dont get if something is so close to completion why you wouldnt just finish it. surely if they really wanted to at this point they could get it done in a week if not two... the mould was done months ago..

fine, a few adjustments need to be made but does that really take another 6 months??

they keep announcing new stuff, but its never our diffuser. i intend on keeping my leon for quite a long time still but who knows if ill ever get this diffuser..

its the never ending story.
