TT/LCR bushings

Hello all,
I was at my local mechanic the other day with my PD150 for a wheel alignment check and after the guy lifted my car he saw that the back wishbone bushings have completely gone!
So he fitted TT bushings that are full of rubber instead of the standard Leon ones which are 'hollow'.

The car was noticeably better in handling and feedback! So naturally, I want more of this!
Maybe subframe bushings from a TT as well? Front wishbone bushings as well?
How about the rear suspension? Anything that can be done there apart from doing major surgery like aftermarket ARB and such?

Late reply here but I've just seen this post! I'm a big fan of bushing upgrades - they really do freshen and tighten up a car no end. I've had a few PQ34 platform (Golf mk4/A3 mk1/Leon mk1/Octavia mk1/etc) cars at this stage and have done bushings in most of them - well worthwhile.

The front control arms you've already done - the rear bush is the major one, the front can be left alone really unless it's worn. On the rear, the Cupra R bushing (1ML501541) is a great upgrade - I've had them on my A3 and Golf GTI and they really help to tighten up the rear without being too harsh. They are expensive mind - an alternative that uses a slightly softer compound but is quite a bit cheaper is from the Ibiza Cupra (6LL501541).

While these are a great improvement in their own right, you are right there - to take full advantage you'd need to look at ARBs, but they're not as bad of a job as you might think!
