turbo advice

Hey guys,
Just looking for a little bit of advice on turbos, been looking at k03s or a ko3s hybrid...

My main question is, I know you can run a k03s without a map, how about a k03s hybrid?

Also what else will need upgraded alongside the turbo? just a FPR?

Your need a map ideally either way.

Hybrid needs a lot more than k03s

Fuel pump 80mm tip with 80mm air mass air filter fmic 4bar fpr and fuel pump no forgetting forged con Rods new rod bearings new piston rings all the right lube and oil to run the engine in

If your only going to run at around 250-260 bhp then you won't need the rods for a hybrid, if your not planning on getting a map then best not to bother swapping your turbo. To go hybrid you'll need injectors probably 440cc ones, cupra r fuel pump. 3inch downpipe. New turbo intake pipe to fit 3inch maf housing, new filter and a remap.

To fit a k03s a leon cupra r fuel pump. 3inch downpipe or atleast 2.5, and a remap. No point swapping turbos not to get them mapped will cause all sorts of silly problems that you won't even notice but will be there.

Thanks guys, I didn't realise I'd need so much to run the hybrid, the car has already been mapped and has a fair few mods, I think ill look at just going for a k03s for now. Won't need that much more, would get it mapped again also. Thanks!

Your also defo need it mapped if your fitting a 4bar FPR, I'd let the mapper fit it

Mine died almost straight away and so did bergs.

You running a wideband gauge?
