HI guy, i recently bourght a 2003 seat leon 1.9tdi, from a local seller.
However i gave it to a garage to sort out a turbo problem i had about loosing power..
Now i carnt take my car over 2000 revs, (well i could just too scared to) when i rev into medium 2000s and let go i get a horrible crunching noise, i asked a few experts about it they said it'll be my turbo dying. and i should get it sorted asap.. i have it booked for wednesday this week, however have been driving it around, under 50mph :'(
I was just wondering if anyone knows what has actually happend to the turbo??
and also how much people rekon it could be, i fear the worst £1000 ??
just need some morale support :'( ****ing love the car aswell

any help or estimates very much greatfull !!

Thanks Jason

centre bearing could have collapsed. aslong as your engine doesnt pick up on the oil put into the turbo you should be ok. just dont beat her:headhurt:
