Well got my car back :), the garage replaced the hose part 17 in post 6 diagram, with new seals clip etc.. the garage also put a jubilee clip around the clip section to ensure there isn't any play and no chance of the clip pulling apart slightly due to pressure from the lug pushing against it, which I believe probably aids in the pressed lug to shear off ?? They've left the under tray off for the moment as its a pain to remove, and give it a work or so to see how it goes ! just hope its enough.. I am tempted to put a jubilee clip around all the other connections ?? or try the heat shrink with lined adhesive ?? while the under tray is still off ?

Hope it holds for you! Iv been thinking of some material/ tape to wrap the hose/joint/intercooler joint to help strengthen / prevent further leak. All i could think of is that self emalgulating tape that once applied it becomes one, but unsure of what it will do to the rubber hoses

Below is the use of 10mm cable ties to hold the push fit hose. First image is at intercooler, the other is connection between section 16/17. You'll notice the jubilee clip the garage has fitted, I opted to keep that fitted, and add the cable ties as seen. I used three to connect between each side of the hoses. I also done between section 7/16, but not between 7/8, 8 is the turbo I believe ? as I didn't know how hot it would get ??
