I have a 130TDI on a Cordoba and having recently been laid up on the M60 motorway due to the Turbo pipe blowing off, I`ve been advised, as a precaution, to change both rubber pipes that connect both the Turbo and the Intercooler.

Here`s the rub, one costs £94 and the other £74:cry::cry:...For 2 bloody bits of rubber!!!.....Does anyone know if you can get spurious parts for these please, and if so where from. The price so far from both Seat and VW are the same...(at least **** Turpin wore a mask:D)

Have so far tried GSF and Vag parts but without success....

Many thanks
Paully

The RAC used 4 tie straps to hold the boost pipe on :) lasted for a good few months and still on!
Why not just change the clips?

If anyone wants a spare turbo hose (the one which is a 90 degree bend that hooks on to the inlet manifold/EGR) then I have a brand new one spare that I don't need anymore due to going down the silicone hose route. :)
