Ordered up a catchcan and some other misc bits, just getting rid of the pap breather system, can't believe how perished and worn it is.

Tax reminder through ,6months of ownership. :) Getting dear though, intercooler, pipework, rocker cover and new filter will have to wait till next month.

Anyone got a grill lying around they'd like to sell me? :)
I lost mine today, I don't think this is gonna cut it, the keen enthusiasts may be able to spot the fake. ;)

Working on a couple of bits just now.

Headlining and pillars out to be retrimmed in this grey faux suede. It's pretty close to the grey on the seats.

Started working on the headlining, of course I didn't order enough glue. :banghead2
Easy enough to work with though, the pillars take a bit more work though as the fabric isn't that stretchy.

The fabric is from ebay user "swincraft2" and I ordered 5m which is more than enough, they also do lots of other fabrics and colours for those interested. You'll need 4 tins of high temp adhesive spray if you're doing the b pillars as well, got mine from ebay.

Also I've moved these 3 switches down here, any guesses why? :)

Now the fun bits

Slow puncture on passenger side tire
Down to 1.2bar of boost
Went to change the intercooler pipework, oil change, filter change, fit the yellow rocker cover and gaskets etc and all I found was lots and lots of oil around the drivers side driveshaft, gearbox, turbo/actuator. So this is either the driveshafts eaten itself or the turbo has a leak.
Anyone know the quickest way to source the problem and if it is the driveshaft the best place to get one?

Anyone want a Cupra running on hopes and dreams?

No more than usual that'd you see in a 1.8t. It's really hard to tell where the oil is coming from because there is so much of it around the gearbox/subframe.

Would there be play in the driveshaft if it'd popped at the gearbox side?

Think so yeah shouldnt really be any play in the driveshaft i dont think. If its come from your turbo them id think that would be your oil lines?? You really need to clean it all off then run it whilst your underneath it...could be loads of places it would leak from.
