Looks great. Makes such a difference to the car with those two simple, but pricey additions. Glad it worked out well for you. Enjoy.

Edit: am just noticing that you also got the brakes fitted...or are the calipers just painted?

Just the calipers are painted at the minute, my 312 calipers are being rebuild and powercoated at the moment but I'm still unsure if I'm going to fit them

Why would you not fit them? I've had no probs with the ones you supplied me with.

I just don't know if the car needs them, are they really that much of an improvement, I know they will be fine but is it worth changing the brakes on a car with 600 miles on?

Just had a Facebook message from my friend saying the calipers are done, 30 quid for strip blast power coat and rebuild, not bad lol

I would rather be look at them than looking for them! Standard brakes are fine for day-to-day driving with some fun thrown in along the way. But, if you have them ready for fitting, then why not? Only issue I can see is that if you took Seat finance out on the car, I am not sure how well modifications would sit with the finance company. (But who is to know )

Well dave today I went ahead and swapped these

Fitted

Pads are yellow stuff painted black to hide them, first impressions are they are very good much be,better than standard and with a little heat in the pads they really stop you and feel powerful

Sorry Craig, if it hadn't been for having the hassle to box them up secure and 20 odd quid to send them you could of had them.

Monday is centre box removal day then lowering at some point, ordered 15mm spacers for the front today.

I'm going for a tmc box but not sure when

Ha ha, good point! These cars should come with the accessories as standard ... But then, they are making money from the extras, so why would they lol

Gave the bakes more of a test today on the way to work and they really are brilliant, glad I fitted them
