turning off Interior monitoring system

I have a 55 reg 1.9 TDI reference. Does anyone know how to turn off the internal monitoring system so that the alarm doesn't go off when i leave my dog in the car.

I've checked the manual and it says there's a button on the drivers side. The button doesn't seem to be on my Leon.

Does anyone know where the button is?

Not sure if it's the same place as the Ibiza?

It's on the right hand side of the drivers foot well!

I think that if you lock the car with the remote then quickly press the remotes lock button again the interior monitoring is disabled.

Never seen a button inside though.

Yes, i read that somewhere too. A double push on the lock button disables the interior sensors.

Thank you so much, I have just gone and tested it and it works.

The light on the passenger door does not flash when it is diabled.
