any reason for this other then a slow slow slow puncture as it takes ages to go down once pumped up? when i got the service done they did say it needs changing as damage to inside wall...... just rang a few places and got a few quotes but what i wanna know is, does it matter what brand i get? he said nexen some midrange brand but ive never heard of them, the rest i.e kwik fit and others are wanting £75 and upwards for budget tyres

i paid £90 a tyre fitted for goodyear eagle F1's, 205/40/17... £75+ for budget tyres seems a little steep if you ask me!

You can't go wrong with www.camskill.co.uk Just buy the tyre off them and get it fitted and balanced at a local tyre place. Fitting should cost you no more than £15.

I recently bought a set of toyo proxies from camskill for £220 and got them fitted for £30. Before that i rung round tyre places and was getting quotes of around £300 fully fitted!

i got mine from tyres direct uk, but they've only got 3 sites, all in the Bristol area

Most places should be able to order in tyres for you i'd have thought.. they had to order mine when i got mine done.

paid £90 for a bridgestone turanza from National, so £75 is steep. Surely you could get Toyo Proxies cheaper than £75! think if you get them shipped they are like £40 each, then pay £10 fitting when they arrive.
