Tyre Load Index

Need to replace all 4 tyres on my 04 Leon Curpa TDI. Now on the front tyres are 225/45/R17/94Y. Looking on all the usual sites (etyres, black circles, camskill etc) but not sure what load index is correct. When putting my reg in it comes back with tyres with a load index of both 91 and 94.

Would it be safe to put 91 load index tryes on my car?

It will say in your owners manual the exact tyres needed. In my VW Golf Mk4 handbook it states 225/45 R17 91 W/Y but the Leon might be different.
