just had 3 prices for tyres 225-40-18 toyo proxis £100 each fitted vredestein £97 fitted goodyear assemetrics £125 i wanted rim protection and theses tyres have but not to sure what to go for . i have done 19000 on the p zero rossos on my fr td1 these give good mileage but no rim protection

I was looking at tyres for a while there, Vredestein was at the top of my list. Also i was looking at eagle f1's gsd3's. Once i was given a bit of advice i ended up going for Micheline pilot sports. Really can't fault them.
Was there not a poll on here of what tyre people found the best, IIRC the goodyear was coming out on top.
I changed from dunlops to michelin PS2's and loved them but I need fronts again after 6000mls.
I might have to suffer the indignity of having mismatching tyres.

The Proxys are a good tyre, I was looking at them for my scooby before I blew the engine up, they have a good review.
However I have just looked on ebay and the Yoko Paradas are a good price and an excellent tyre that can coupe with the torque as I had them on my type r, they where abour 190 a pair. including delivery.
