Tyre Sizes !!

Im after a little help. im buying a seat ibiza mk4, slammin it on coilovers and stickin some 17" wheels on with a 7j wide wheels.... Just after some advise on size of tyres.
Do i strech them or 195 or a 205 cant make up my mind. So What size are you guys runnin..

I would stick to 205/40-17 to avoid scrubbing issues when slammed.

stretched tyres will just ruin the ride and handling.

I'm in the same boat as you lol you just saved me a thread, now o can just see your answers

195s do look a lot better but i dunno if it would rub on 205s or anything

205/40 on a 7" rim is standard fit for the FR and CUPRA.

The speedo will be correct with 205/40-17 tyres.

205/40-17 tyres are one of the most popular sizes so there are many to choose from

ahh i see, yeh i wan't me speedo to be correct, just my mates fabia vrs looks good with 195s on his 17s but i want me to fit and not rub. . .

204/45s will rub wont they?

My standard FR wheels used 205/45/17, but my new wheels are 215/35/17

Go for the 205's

Streched tyres are stupid in my opinion!
