My tyres used to say max PSI is 50, on the tyres...so didn't dare go so high haha...saying that my current car on 215/40/R17 also have two tyre settings though 38/35 and 33/30 Comfort Mode. It was actually 39/36 when I check with my pressure gauge. For me, the first pressures was too bumpy and harsh, so I lowered to 36/34...much better.

My mistake - should be 28 front and 26 rear. Says that on the sticker in the fuel filler and was confirmed by SEAT customer care when I queried it. No idea why the 1.4 TSi should be a couple of psi different
Seat told me the fuel gauge relates to the 17". Just goes to show even the so called experts make it up as they go along![]()
wow surprised at the recommended pressures!
I've contacted SEAT again to see if the numbers are the same!
Seat Customer services finally got back to me with the answer (tyre pressures for a Leon FR with optional 18 inch factory-fitted wheels):
• Half load front 32 psi
• Half load rear 29 psi
• Full load front 35 psi
• Full load rear 38 psi
The half load pressures in the filler cap label are 29 front and 26 rear...

That's with the 1.4 150ps petrol engine
Anyone with a 1.4 on 17's able to check theirs?
