Maybe a silly question but would it be ok to run about in an un-mappped car for a while until i do get it done...? poss set boost with manual boost controller or something?

How long are you talking about running about for? ideally not at all

I read a thread like this before think it was b3nny or somone that said about unpluging the n75 so it just runs on the wastgate pressure but still stay off boost and drive it for as short a time as possible...

That's what I plan to do when taking mine over to Bill but will probably give him a call to double check it's OK to do so. That way you're just running on static pressure.

At a push I can probably get a trailor but there's a side of me that thinks it would be good to drive it a small amount of miles to identify any obvious issues before it goes in for mapping.

It was me asking the question coz I have to do the same. Unplug n75 I was told but then I have to drive 4 hrs to jabba hope I will be ok. :confused:

Thats exactly what i done for about 150miles just to identify any problems (which there wasnt).
