Yup, another 12months & it's dead ball joint.
Does anybody make decent stuff anymore?
I know, I know, get genuine VAG.
But there must be someone somewhere who can make rubber & balljoints that isn't total crap,.
who isn't so embarrassed at what they make, that they actually put their own name on it.
("borrowing" someone else's name or logo, is cheating.)
Rant snarl whinge.
Self inflicted problem.

What have you got on at the moment? I don't want to tell you what I've got only got you to tell me they're the crap ones...

I've got Lemforder track rods and Febi ball joints. The track rods have been on for about 2 1/2 years now and I'm not having any problems with them, but the Febi ball joints have only been in since late March and I haven't done enough miles to know if they're any good yet.

They're better than the old ones anyway - but then they were the originals, so that's not surprising.

Apologies, but I hate ball joints & re-tracking everything.
Agreed on Lemforder usually being excellent,
at least when the Lemforder box has actually contained a Lemforder component.
