So, i needed to do some maintenance on my car a little while ago and had to remove the undertay.
When i got to it, it was pretty much hanging off. And needing a clean.
Its been off a while and sat here wondering (yes, its a very slow day lol) if i should refit it or leave it off.
Happy to order a full set of fittings and put it back on.
Just wondered how it affects air/water cooling.

Mine didn’t have one fitted, I bought a second hand one and put it on to keep some of the road crap out of the engine bay as it was a daily driver.

Other than that I’m not sure it does anything else.

As above, keeps road crap off the engine & possibly cuts down on drag at motorway speeds.

Mine is held on with cable ties these days ...

I always kept mine on until the side ones got damaged and the ebay replacements didn't fit properly.
As the others have said, best to keep it on if you can

I've notice it also has some aircubes. I guess it protects somehow a couple of bumps on the sump. God this car is low.
