It's a company lease car so unfortunately I don't know the exact order date or build week. I submitted the spec at the end of June, but I have the feeling the guy who orders the company cars was in no hurry so the acutal order could have been some time after that.

Mine isn't DSG, which may make a difference.

It's funny how even though everyone is supposed to be broke the lead times on new cars are so long

To be fair.. that is still quite a wait!! I heard that they were struggling with the parts for the 2.2 media system too apparently, so may have had an influence.

The manual is great, nice sporty feel, just thought it be worth trying an auto as had manual since I started driving!

some also come in up north newcastle area, the dealer just knew mine had landed in kent, i wish it would fecking land in lincolnshire coz its given snow here middle of next week thats the main reason i got the fr+ with sat nav coz i thought sheerness was in scotland

Aha to be fair I would have chose Scotland aswell! Glad it isn't though otherwise wouldn't get it till April with the weather up there!! This waiting feels longer than those 21 before!! Think its because I actually know its en route but can't have it!!

probably waiting until the transporter was full to bring the cars here, misses thinks im mental coz i went with a torch after tea to have a look, i looked a proper burglar, it looks awsome in emotion red, should have it friday to play with

Im debating weather to borrow my mates truck for the day and carry it back up to keep the mileage down!! Or its the train there and nice drive back... as long as i dont get lost

drive it back, put yer postcode in the satnav play with the dsg all the way home and jobs a goodun, been to see car today sad muppet that i am, looks stunning, all washed and cleaned inside and out, just waiting for dvla to return something, nice to see the car staying inside until i collect it, the dealer been great to deal with and its the best i have ever seen a new car look straight from a dealer

Yeah I think it is going to be the train down and then drive back up, what better way to have a play with the DSG!! Sounds nice mate but where are the pictures for me? It probs be the registration docs then will it? Your a lucky man, getting to spy on your motor, wish I had that but the 2 and half k saving is well justified I'd say!! Just hope the weathers ok for a decent drive back

swapping the reg off my car onto the new one, i cant get rid of it coz her indoors got me it for my 40th, thats a good discount mate considering the waiting list and it being the most popular in the leon range, i got 3k more for my car selling it private and 1k off new one so i cant complain

Oh right, so it wouldnt normally be this long from when the car gets in?? Yeah was a good discount.. but really struggling to sell my currently Leon now and most of my 2k deposit is in it. But not clearing the finance really so i could be fooked!!! You know anywhere that might do a good deal??
