Upon turning engine off

Does anyone else have what sounds like a hissing noise that lasts for about 4 secs when the climate control has been used and you turn of engine? I had a good look earlier but could not feel any leaks and thought maybe it was just excess ventage as its only when the engine has been on and then turned off

Its the normal sound that A/C & climate systems make when the engine is switched off. No need to worry.

I get a whirring type sound, almost like a turbine slowing down after turning off the ignition.

As Stu has said, it's just the AC Compressor slowing down

I love the turbine noise my last car did it it reminds me of something like the back to future car lol i thought the hissing maybe A/C venting upon shutdown but wanted to see if its normal practise

4 secs? Mine does it for about 30

Now we have hot weather its lasting about 12 secs
