uprated discs/pads. what you guys running??

selling my 312mm brakes on saturday as i cant be bothered with the hassle of making them fit, just going to upgrade my discs and pads untill i can afford cupra r brembos!!

ive previously ran ferrodo ds2500 along with mintex something or other discs on my 6n2 polo gti when i had it and found them good but dont have 100+ quid to spend just on pads atm!! been looking at black diamond drilled and grooved / grooved only discs ,along with black diamond predator pads which comes in less than 200 quid. has anybody used this set up?? venom say its pretty effective. any other options

Standards discs with pagid pads and an amazing amount of brake fade.......Gets scary!!

mine are bad for fade but i dont feel the bite is as bad as some people make out. im hoping a set of good discs and pads and some braided hoses should tide me over. ive noticed them gettin a bit dodgy after fitting my k03s etc

Agree totally, got two Cupra's, one with 280mm Brembo disc's & Pagid pads, the other with 305mm Badger5 grooved disc's & 4 pot Brembo's, the difference is like night & day. GTi T has got a set of Brembo 4 pots for sale, PM him.
