Hi all, i was wondering if you experts could help me out here. Ive opted to buy a full new sound system for my leon. without going into too much detail of the system i have bought a pioneer f900bt HU. I have factory fitted bluetooth, and was wondering if there was any way of making it work with the new HU.

Sorry if this has been posted already, had a look but never found anything. Thanks

f900 comes with its own bluetooth so just use that and flog ur retrofit on here!

yes you can there was a post a few weeks ago where you can take the SEAT bluetooth feed and make it into an rca lead and feed it through the aux in.

Yes you can! Strip the two bluetooth wires from the standard connector and crimp them onto an RCA lead.. Plug this into an aux input on your new headunit. Strip the phone interrupt from the connector and hook that up to the relevant interrupt on your headunit and it should all work!

I'm in the process of doing mine.. It cuts out when my phone rings but I haven't got around to crimping on the RCA connector to get the audio through. Thats a job for this weekend..

Nice, thanx guys. I was hoping it could be done because it would be a shame to lose the bluetooth function. Shall try what you said street when im off next from work.

Hi Guys

I have done this on my K1. One thing to be aware of though. The interupt from the bluetooth is constant when activated, ie when the phone rings it comes on and does not go off until you hang up. This was a problem for my JVC AVX810 headunit as when i connected it up it muted the unit entirely, including the auxillary input which i had connected the bluetooth to, so i couldnt hear anything. No solution for me, just didnt connect it. When the phone rings i rely on feeling my phone vibrating in my pocket, or seeing the incoming call message on the cars display.

If you want any further info let me know.

Cheers

Nik
