VAC COM Log Advise

I seem to be having problems with Fuel economy on my MK4 Golf GTI 1.8T AUM, I put in 11 litres of V-Power, drove 25 miles of normal driving, and it's completely gone. The car has had a Revo stage one re-map about 3 year ago, the modifications to the engine are only the Revo Re-map, and Forge Diverter Valve. I have repalced the MAF, Coil Packs, Spark Plugs, Collant sensor, and fuel filter about 2 years ago.

I am at a loss to figuring out what might be the problem because the car is not given out any errors when scanning with VAG COM.

I managed to log Blocks 115 Boost, 118 (N75) Valve, 030 Oxygen Sensor Regulation. If anyone on this forum could give me some advise on the logs, that would be great help to me.

Will do. Would it be OK to do the run in third gear because 4th would mean I am doing 120-Mph, and I would enjoy keeping my license.

Not sure car will reach 120mph in 4th gear imho... unless you have a 5 speed box?

From those logs your not boosting properly but its hard to say until have full throttle runs...

Power runs starting a bit late - from lower down the rev range would have been better ... but


MAF readings look a bit low for Revo Stage 1.
Has the timing being altered with an SPS3 - maybe a little too advanced....

Boost requested seems to be meeting actual - and everything else looks ok.

How old is the MAF - where did you get it from?

How old is the MAF - where did you get it from?

The MAF is about 2 years old, It's an original from VW dealers. I also have a MAF Chart I can upload if that is any help to you. The car is running a K03s Turbo.

I thought 160g/s was about right for Stage One Revo? The timing has not been altered with an SPS3 as I don't have one. Would you say the timing is off then?

As I said before, I did change the Fuel Filter, But I did check all the connectors to make sure they where not damaged when I changed the filter. I have not checked the Fuel Filter sense the last time I changed it so that might be worth looking at again?

You can see from the correction factors that the ecu is pulling back timing a bit - I wouldn't have expected this much from unadjusted Revo Stage1 - ok the airflow shows some heat, but I've seen a lot worse on a sidemount intercooler.

Stage 2 Rob, maybe with Revo. I wouldn't expect stage 1 to be 20+ g/s down from that though....

I don't think there's anything so wrong with your engine that it's giving you less than 3 miles/litre..... If you're using that much fuel, it's got to be something like that......

So would you say that it's a bad MAF, or maybe a dodge upload of the Revo Software that might be the problem. I might try and find some other MAF log of people who have a GOLF with stage one re-map and a K03s turbo to compare with my car.

If the car should be putting out 180g/s at the MAF , then I am well down.

Sorry I forgot to say, I change the N75 Valve from a J to a H which is from the Audi TT.

Revo does not like different N75s. Get an F back on.
