vacuum hose ripped but no boost problem

Was driving earlier and noticed my car sounded like it had 500bhp lol

noticed the vacuum hose going from the boost pipe to the n75 has a huge split and has come off the boost pipe

but the car seems to run ok and is boosting as normal which suprises me as it sounds like a huge boost leak now


will it be ok to run the car a few days like this until i can replace the hose??

im guessing its just for vapour or something

supprised your not getting fault codes...

Get it replaced asap... that pipe operates the actuator, the N75 valve bleeds off this line to allow the boost to go above the preset setting of the actuator.

What you have essentially is a massive bleed on the boost control circuit.

When the pipe from the charge pipe to the N75 splits or comes off it will cause overboost. Get it sorted before something else breaks from the extra boost.

Just been out and now im getting problems from it so just ordered some from ForgeMotorsport so wont be driving car till it arrives

EM light is on now too
