vacuum hose

just wondering wot size vacumm hose do i need for the cupra? i brought 3mm diameter and its 2 small.

I used 3mm vac hosing and so have lots of others. It just pushes on abit tighter than the original. What you trying to do?

3mm is a nice tight fit just what you want. You can get away with 4mm but id proberly use zip ties with 4mm to be on the safe side.

i used black cable ties on 4mm red piping, fits well and looks good.

i used 3mm and you don't need zipties...there's no chance they'll come lose (or they haven't for me in a year or so)

ok thats fine then thanx, the 3mm just looked too narrow thats all but i will use it now then if it goes on ok.

Same for me, its slowly taking over my engine bay, just a few more bits to do

Vac lines should not need zip/cable ties as they are sucked on so dont worry if you dont have any. Wont hurt if you do use them though.
