I know this might be best in the Vag Com area but i'd rather request someone with an Ibiza Cupra/R who has Vag-Com as it would also be a chance to meet fellow cupra owners as i haven't met anyone yet

Anyway is there anyone localish to Birmingham who has vagcom and is used to logging using it to do some logging with my cupra.

Cheers :)

you must have read it differently to how I wrote it.

**** it. what do I care. I have vag-com, 2 SEAT's, my wife has a Mk3 Cupra - but I guess I'm not welcome in the clique

i read it as to he wants someone 'exclusively' in the B'ham area.. seemed to be specific in that ... ive known you help people 'miles' away from where you live , in fact quite regularly.. but like you say...its a bit 'cliquey'..;)

yeah, now it's clear - I retract my offer of coming to birmingham.
shame since I'd been putting a brummy accent on in preparation

I'd say my first post was just as purposeful as yours wouldnt you say mork? You obviously understand the guy is just looking for help with vagcom but worded his request a little too specifically, no real need to mock him for it though, maybe you should ask yourself the question you asked me, was that reply supposed to be funny?

Wow... I'm also in need of a member with VAG COM who will be in the Birmingham area. Tonight would also be wonderful.

The car is a toledo V5 20V

This morning I had the engine management light on, so I thought it might be the MAF sensor. Limped into work at 40 MPH.

At lunchtime I went to the car and removed the MAF sensor cable and started it up, now I have the traction control light, the EPC light and the engine management light on.

I am loathed to take it to colliers and the VW garage near my house say the might not be able to interpret the results.

Any ideas anyone?
