Evening,

I'd like to get a list together of what VagCom can and cant do.

I had a quick search and couldn't see anything, so I thought it would be a good idea

As an example it can turn off the corning function but cant activate needle sweep


I think if we could get a nice organised list together, a few of us may be able to activate options we never thought we could etc.

If you could maybe include how to do it aswell!

Perfect. Eactly what I wanted. Can these be turned on no matter what. i.e Coming home function if you dont have the required pack? (Tech pack?)

Some functions are accessory dependant.

Anything to do with Auto wipers and lights require the sensors to be fitted
Light level adjuster is only for xenon option
Tow bar functions require the tow bar
Reverse sensor beep requires the reverse sensor pack.

I also noticed that the XDS ( electronic limited slip diff ) adjustment is not on the list.
Best bet is to do a full car scan when you get VCDS and a cable.
Then the VCDS knows what is possible on your car.

EDIT - the locks only work from outside on the drivers door over 15kph and they unlock when you remove the key

Never tried one BUT :

You will need a hex+can type cable to work with the 6J ibiza due to the CANBUS system and if it doesn't work there will be no support from rosstech.

Many of the cheap cables come with an unofficial copy of the rosstech lite software and have limited capability.

I've had a £15 one for 4 years and still works fine. Does everything the £200+ one does and never let me down.

I tried the driving school mode on mine, couldn't get it to work at all

Guys with the DSG scirroco have been able to adjust the electronic diff, I tried and apparently needs a security code to enable coding. Would be good if this was possible!

Not when you sit in the passenger seat as an instructor.
