vag com module does not respond error

hi guy i need a bit of help im new to vag com and need of help i have a cupra r mk1 03 plate im getting module does not respond error on certain modules. Does that mean there is a fault with them or my car does not have that module. Thanks guys

Which ones you trying to scan? Does it work on others?

im trying to open module 09 Central Electronics i can open 01 and 46 but im trying to open this one but its not opening. i dont know if i'm doing some thing wrong or it just wont open on mk1 leon or mine is broke

Remove VCDS plug from vehicle, close VCDS program and start again with the ignition switched on first. I find mine does this sometimes. I guess it's because it's a cheap copy.

Thing is, I'm quite happy with this little niggle because I paid about £250 less than the ripoff (sorry I meant real) one.

If you go in to the device settings for your lead (my computer, devices, usb to serial or something.) some how in advance settings i changed the latency from 16 to 12, from what i understand this is the delay between changing from serial to usb, if this delay is too long the module cant be accessed.
