Im looking to get a rev limiter on my cupra r and i rele want an ignition cut. Any have this or how do u get it done. Iv herd of the wot box but judging from the videos iv seen on youtube i have seen 1 that sounds worth putting on a car. All im after is for it to bounce the rev limiter and bang ect.

And i dont care if its stupid or if u think its pointless. its my car and i want it so anyone that dosnt think its worth doing dont bother commenting as i put this up to get info not to hear your oppinios! Rant over :D

You will need forged rods if planning on running a WOTbox or similar unless you want to throw a leg out of bed, its quite well documented

it already has a limiter in the ecu . The only way you will get any over rev is severe engine breaking unless you have a map that has deleted the limiter.

Ps its pointless and stupid , its my car and I will cry if I want to ( all sing along now )

:handbags:

**** me this thread is almost as gay as the illuminated gear knob

Its been said already ^^^^ you will need forged stuff

So everyone else has been taking the Pee-r (no pun intended) and you have got one person giving you a sensible factual reply, so question is

Are you gonna get forged rods and have them put in or not?

If you look at murdered Lcr old thread , I'm sure he had one. If I remember correctly it ended in tears having one put on .

Just a word of warning .

The Bee-r limiter works amazing on skylines, had one on my old R32 GTR, sounded like a machine gun lol maybe it would be worth you speaker to a mapper and see if they can map in a very aggressive rev limiter which would give you what you are asking for, I know Dave Walker at emerald ECU's can do it on their own ECU's where it has switchable maps, and he calls it the flamethrower map lol which is just for shits and giggles. Hope you manage to get it done dude, its your car so make it how YOU want it!

Sorry for bumping an old thread but I never knew that fitting a WOTBOX would require forged rods. Is this just because of the immense initial torque from spooling up the turbo before the launch?
