vas 5052 help

Can anyone help me? I have a vas 5052 but havn't been able to do anything with it other than read dtc's in my 2.0l tdi mk2 leon. Does any body out know how to use get into the car's using this tool

erm what are you doing with a 5052?

It is left over from a project I was involved in with vw, But I never had to actualy use it. They can be bought privately (or do you mean they are no good for domestic use?) Anyway when you select the computor sector you want eg central electrics control, it asks for a code??
