Vcds 10.6.5 seat belt warning

MK4 IBIZA 130. I no i might be the first for this as i have checked high and low for the answer with no luck.
I need to now how to switch seatbelt warning sound on. I have tried VCDS 10.6.5 and changed the numbers to reactivate it. The seatbelt light comes on when i turn the key in ignition and turns of after couple of seconds. Am i missing some thing or has the previous owner bypassed it from the wiring please can someone point me in the right direction

Problem may not be with the coding or VCDS software.

Check under the seat to see if the wiring plug has been disconnected, this stops the warning sound without any coding neccessary.

It's the wiring running to the seat belt buckle you need to check. Just follow it down from the bottom of the buckle and make sure it's connected to the junctions coming from the floor loom.

I have just unplugged this on a few cars to disable the warning sound, but i always remember to reconnect it when i'm selling it for the next person.

THX for reply. will doulble check it tomorrow. had already checked the seat sensor cable, but couldnt really see the seat belt holder connection
