vcds lite interface not found :(

hi received the lead today installed the drivers on the cd i got with the lead and changed the port to one that that matched vcds lite the problem is when i rest connection on vcds i get an error pop up that says port status ok interface not found what could be the problem be does anyone know?

i think so i tried with and without the ignition on and got the same error.
