Vehicle Ident Sticker location? Leon FR Sport 2.0

It may be hidden in the same location as it is in the later mk7 / mk7.5 Golf models - behind the plastic sill trim strip in the luggage compartment.
Have a look at the YouTube video in post #7 in the discussion thread at the link below, which shows where the Golf’s sticker is (at around 36 seconds and 1.00 minute into the video);

Just ripped that bit out, whilst full of optimism.... but alas... its not there either???
There used to be one in the service record book.. but there is no book anymore as its now all online records only.
Underneath the boot mat, however if it's anything like mine the sticker has got damp over time and can no longer be read

Ah well you have saved me doing that on my daughter's Leon Cupra!
Edit:- it really does beggar belief that SEAT and maybe other VW Group marques have stopped sticking these "build plates" in an area that is easily accessible to the owner and any small workshop that might need to see it.
As an easy work around, call into your local SEAT dealer's parts department and ask for a printout of "CAR DATA" for your car, it is quite a few pages long, seems that SEAT are not so exhaustive at providing such a complete list as Audi or VW, but having that information can come in handy in the future.

I have been making sure that I had a printout of CAR DATA for all my cars since late 2000, how/why this happened was, I personally imported a new Passat 4Motion back in May 2000, and this was my first VW Group car, when I started going to my local VW dealership parts department to get ordered in some small items, the parts guy said "you should have a copy of this" - and he produced a print out of CAR DATA for that car!
So, when I personally imported a Polo for my wife in September 2002, I just went along and asked for a print out of its CAR DATA, again no problem, a couple of minutes later a parts guy handed that over.
In maybe 2013, when I was left looking after my older daughter's late 2009 Ibiza SC, when she went to work abroad, I went into my local SEAT dealership and asked for this print out - total confusion but someone in the parts department knew what I was asking for, and after 15 minutes it was handed over, so far so good.
When I bought a used 2011 Audi S4 in July 2013, I went into my Audi dealership and asked for and got this print out.
In September 2015 when my wife bought a new Polo, again I asked, this time at another branch of my local VW dealership - young parts guys said "there is no such thing now!" - so I accepted that for the time being, but maybe 6 months later, I passed by the original branch of that VW dealership and asked and was immediately given a print out.
My daughter bought a new Leon Cupra in August this year, I just happened to be passing by that SEAT dealership and asked for a print out for it - and was given one.
I've written all this just in case you come up against the "there is no such thing" - there is, they just need to be aware that it exists and know where to find it in their parts listing etc system.

Got almost the same car as you but 68 FR ST and it is under the boot floor well half way down the spare wheel well on the side, if you have a spare wheel might not be obvious, have to remove mine to see it.

That used to be the default position for that build data sheet on all VW Group car, but -----.
I thought, maybe wrongly, that originally with all VW Group car marques, the deal was, at completion and "check off/check out" from the manufacturing unit, the final job was to remove any build tickets, stick one "build data" sheet to the inside of the spare wheel well and leave the second sticker in the car along with probably keys, wheel trims/bolt covers etc. When the car finally arrived at the selling dealership, and was PDI'd local paperwork pack was added to the car and at that point the second "build data" sticker was stuck to the inside of the service booklet.
Now no service booklet, at least in UK, as all records are held by dealer and SEAT - so why has the second "build data" sticker not found a place in the revised owners manual, if it still exists in short form - every other domestic item has a "quick start" paperwork leaflet even in the face of digital records/manuals - and even worse, why have they all stopped sticking the first "built data" sticker on the internal body somewhere in the factory?
Edit:- has anyone ever investigated if this info is held on the SEAT website in the "owners" section, I'm let to believe Ford hold any/all info you would ever need to know there on their website - not hard is it?
